Esta es una memoria USB de 2gb Kingston que se me ocurrió esculpir en plastilina epoxica (simón, no podía usar Super Sculpey por que el calor del horno la hubiera matado)… El concepto está inspirado en los Totems nativos de Norte América, pero dándole un giro con mi propio estilo minimalista… Espero que les guste.
This is a Kingston 2gb USB Flash Drive i decided to sculpt in epoxy clay (yeah, i couldn’t use Super Sculpey because the heat in the oven would have kill it)… The concept of this one was inspired by the North America native Totems, but giving it a twist with my own minimalistic style… Hope u like it.

Este es el primer custom de Spook, este es un Monstruo de la Laguna (creo jajaja). Los agregados están hechos de Super Sculpey y esas pequeñas manchas oscuras son residuos de la delgada capa de pintura gris que le aplique para detectar todos esos pequeños detalles que necesitaban ser corregidos.
This is the first custom of Spook, this one is a Lagoon Monster (i think jajaja). The add-ons are sculpted with Super Sculpey and all the lil’ dark spots are paint residues from the soft layer of gray paint i applied to spot all the lil’ details that needed to be fixed.

Después de mucho ensayo y error, finalmente revelo al mundo a Spook… Mi primer juguete D.I.Y. 100% hecho y producido a mano en resina, miden aproximadamente 6cm.

Mi primer experimento con Super Sculpey… Recién ordené vía Mercado Libre mi primera Super Sculpey después de haber hecho varios prototipos de varios personajes con la comúnmente usada plastilina epóxica, ya que aquí en Guadalajara es imposible conseguir Super Sculpey. Para mi primer calis decidí complicarme un poco la existencia, ya que como podrían darse una idea con la referencia de la retícula del tapete de corte, el calamarcito este mide aproximadamente 4×3.5×3 cm.
My first experiment with Super Sculpey… I just ordered via Mercado Libre my first Super Sculpey after been using for several prototypes of some characters the commonly used epoxy clay, since it is impossible here in Guadalajara to get Super Sculpey. For my first try i decided to get myself a lil’ bit complicated, because as you can give yourself an idea using the cutting mat as a reference, the size of this lil’ dude is approx. 1.5×1.3x.1.1 in.
